ABOUT
Kailey Waskall
Licensed and Registered Occupational Therapist
Hi, I’m Kailey.
I’m an occupational therapist and I’m also neurodivergent. I know firsthand how it feels when daily routines, sensory challenges, or regulation struggles make life harder than it should be. That experience shapes everything I do. It helps me meet adults and families where they are with empathy, understanding, and practical strategies that actually fit into their life.
My approach
I provide occupational therapy that focuses on making daily life more accessible, manageable, and meaningful. Whether it’s helping adults with grooming, hygiene, or creating sensory-friendly routines, or supporting children and families in regulation and connection, my approach is practical, strengths-based, and individualized.
I meet clients where they are and work alongside them to build routines, strategies, and environments that fit their bodies, brains, and lifestyles. My goal isn’t to force compliance, but to remove barriers so daily tasks feel achievable and empowering.
My path to therapy
Full honesty, I became an occupational therapist on a whim. Towards the end of high school, my Mom told me she thought I’d be “good at it.” Thank goodness she did because now, 13 years later, I could not imagine doing anything else.
What started as a suggestion quickly turned into a passion. I love seeing how small, practical supports can completely change someone’s ability to access their daily life: from self-care routines to meaningful connection. Every brain and body is unique, and finding the perfect mix of supports is what makes it fun!
